Dealing with Undesirable outputs for environmental assessment

Environmental assessment recently becomes a major policy issue in the world An importatnt feature of the environment a; assessment is that it needs to classhfy outputs into desirable (good) and undesirable (bad) outputs. In order to improve the performance of an inefficient Decision Making Unit (DMU) the undesirable outputs and desirable inputs should be decreased while the desirable outputs and undesirable inputs should be increased. It is clear that good and bad outputs would be changed proportionally . This study illustrates an approach whitch deals with undesirable and desirable outputs.
