Evaluating the Multi Period Efficiency in Fuzzy Environment

Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) models evaluate the efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) in a particular period of time and in the presence of precise data. Nevertheless, in real applications, there are situations that the efficiency of production systems should be assessed in multiple periods while no precise data present. This paper proposes a method for measuring the overall and period efficiencies of DMUs in fuzzy environment. Indeed, a fuzzy DEA approach is extended to calculate the performance of DMUs in multiple periods. A numerical example is used to illustrate theapproach.
