Identifying Returns to Scale by Using Strong Defining Hyperplanes of PPS

Suppose all Strong Defining Hyperplan (SDHP) of Production Possibility Set (PPS) – CC and BCC – are known. In this paper a method for determining Returns to Scale of a DMU, based on attribute of SDHPs, is proposed. In this method there is no need to solve any linear programming. We shall show that the results are coincide with those have been advanced already.
