چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Estrogen hormone regulate physiological breast tissue proliferation. Evidences confirm that modifications in estrogen signaling pathways containing estrogen alfa receptor (ESRα) occur during breast cancer progression . ESRα is expressed in majority of breast tumor and is proved to be positively correlated with low tumor development. Singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) in genes can result in the conflict and potential for cancer and response to treatment indifferent populations. Aim : This study was aimed at investigating association single nucleotide polymorphism (rs9340799) in ESRα with breast cancerbetween patient and control groups. METHOD :90 patients with breast cancer and 90 healthy individuals with no family history were included.DNA extracted from bloodsamples and genotyped by Tetra ARMS –PCR and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. RESULT : AA genotype in patients and healthy individuals, respectively16/49%and 27% , AG genotype 60/82% and 55/2% and GG genotype 22/68% and 17/7% was observed. Examining genotypes frequency , distinguish , AA genotype in control group is obviouslymore than patients , but heterozygous AG in both group is approximately identical , and about mutant homozygous GG , patient withbreast cancer, have more frequency. CONCLUSION : Our finding confirm previous associations and AG have heterozygotic advantage and could modify individual susceptibility and correlated with various aspects of breast cancer and probably could be used as one prognostic SNP biomarker.
