چکیده مقاله:
in the emerging electric power market, the congestion management becomes very essential and it can impose a barrier to the electricity trading. This paper proposes an optimal congestion management come up to in a deregulated electricity market using The Social Spider Optimization (SSO) algorithm. Congestion in a power system is turned up due to Transmission lines limits. SSO is used to determine the minimum redispatch cost. Test results on IEEE 24-bus and 118-bus systems indicate that the SSO approach could provide a lower rescheduling cost solution compared to GA and EP.
