چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates and evaluates the mineral potential of the Anbar iron deposit located in Chaldoran, West Azerbaijan Province of Iran. The main objective is to integrate data obtained from ground-based geophysical surveys (magnetometer measurements) and information from exploratory drilling to develop an accurate three-dimensional modeling and estimate the mineral resources of the region. Exploration activities included geophysical data acquisition with a defined survey grid (۵۰ m line spacing and ۲۰ m station spacing) over an area of ۱۵۵ hectares, as well as drilling of ۳۸ boreholes in the southern zone. Three-dimensional self-consistent magnetic modeling revealed two main magnetic anomaly zones trending approximately NE-SW, which are consistent with the host geological units of the iron mineralization. For resource estimation, both classical statistical approaches (using vertical and horizontal sections) and geostatistical methods were applied in the southern and northern zones. The results indicate that the total proved and probable reserves of the Anbar mine are estimated at ۴,۵۰۴,۲۷۳ tons, with an average iron grade of ۱۸.۶۹% in the southern zone, along with a significant amount of possible reserves in the northern zone. Overall, this research confirms the effectiveness of integrating geophysical ۳D modelling and drilling results in identifying and quantifying mineral deposits, and it provides a foundation for further exploration and mine development.
