چکیده مقاله:

Visual perception is a dynamic and multilayered process in which visual elements are continuously organized, prioritized, and reorganized. This article introduces the Color Structuring Model as a conceptual framework for examining how chromatic relationships influence Gestalt grouping. The model focuses on the interaction among three chromatic components: background color, the color of in-group elements, and the color of out-group elements. According to the model, changes in chromatic relationships can increase or decrease the perceptual salience of elements, such that some elements may become invisible as a result of becoming chromatically identical to the background, thereby altering the balance of forces among competing Gestalt groupings. This article examines the effects of chromatic changes on the Gestalt principles of Proximity, Similarity, Good Continuation, Closure, Symmetry, Common Fate, and Figure-Ground Organization. The analysis demonstrates that Gestalt principles are not necessarily fixed and independent rules for perceptual organization; rather, their perceptual efficacy can be dynamically modulated by chromatic relationships. From this perspective, color can actively participate in the formation, weakening, and reorganization of perceptual groupings.
