Urban Body, Beauty or chaos Case study: A part of the Tabriz Imam Street body

The City has been the most excellent human Bio-accumulation place from the beginning till now. The aim of the urban design is improving the life conditions and fixing the needs of the city residents. A lot of people every day inevitably pass through urban spaces to do their daily activities and during this pass; some parts of the urban environment are experienced. Therefore, it is too important to preserve the identity and beauty of the urban landscape because creating a beautiful and pleasant space and organizing Proportional and Harmonious Urban structures plays a very important role in creating the mood of vitality and happiness and reducing mental tensions of society. By the development without criteria of many large cities and the increase of population, authorities' domination on social situation control and Addressing city's faces and organizing them, gradually will be decreased as compared to the past. So it is necessary that the urban body and its perspective to be considered more in contemporary Construction to prevent the discord and disharmony of facades from becoming a visual pollution in the city. Accordingly, in this paper with a descriptive- analytical approach and by use of data collecting tools (libraries, documentation and field researches) it is trying to provide executive and strategic solutions with identification, evaluation and assessment of the status quo of urban facades. Therefore, in this writing, first the basic definitions and concepts of the urban body has been reviewed and then the case study in Tabriz has been evaluated by extracting some principles for the design of urban bodies. The results of this evaluation, indicates that the diversity and heterogeneity of urban facades in Tabriz, in a variety of architectural approaches, have created a lack of identity in cultural and social components. So in the end some solutions and proposals for designing and reforming this urban body have been expressed to increase its coordination and quality.
