The Interaction of Vernacular Architecture and Environment , An Inquiry in Design Attributes

This paper analyzes the relationship of vernacular architecture with environment to find out why it is in harmony with environment, looks alive and living among its alive surroundings .vernacular architecture has been solving human’s life’s issues through a path by the wisdom of the people of thousands of years. A path that should be continued in our time and future. The interactions of vernacular architecture and environment can be discussed through several subjects like sustainbility,climate observations,building technology & etc that are defined for investigating accurately. as this categorizing is good there is something wrong about it and that’s the affecting of other sciences in these majors and as a result disregarding the whole subject of architectural design. It seems that architecture and architects are leading by other sciences, experiments and explorations .the architects can define the issues, find the ways to solve them through pure architectual paths,and at last ask technology and science to execute, thus this paper searches for solutions on design attributes of vernacular architecture to discover main answers about interacting with environment.
