چکیده مقاله:

Transformational leadership, as a key style in educational management, holds significant potential for fostering positive changes in teacher performance. The aim of this study is to examine and synthesize research evidence regarding the impact of principals' transformational leadership style on teachers' work motivation. Employing a systematic review methodology, the study analyzed credible domestic and international research articles and studies retrieved from databases over recent years. The findings indicate that the four dimensions of transformational leadership—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—share a positive and significant relationship with teachers' intrinsic motivation and professional commitment. Among these, "individualized consideration" and "inspirational motivation" were identified as the strongest predictors of work motivation. The results also suggest that transformational leadership transforms the educational environment into a dynamic and innovative space by reducing job burnout and enhancing teachers' self-efficacy. Ultimately, this study emphasizes the necessity of revising principal training programs and incorporating transformational leadership components into organizational capacity-building initiatives.
