چکیده مقاله:
The stabilizing of the excavating wall by Artificial Ground Freezing (AGF) and Soil Nailing has been successfully employed in both engineering practice and research. Artificial ground freezing (AGF) and soil nailing have high efficiency in underground grouting work while they also differ in their mechanisms and scope of application. AGF increases in the strength and impermeability of the weak or water-bearing foundation, and soil nailing is to improve the shear resistance of the native ground. Among various underground excavations, deep pits, shafts, and tunnels are recognized as the most frequently used scope of application. In this paper, the application of AGF and soil nailing and their performance, advantages and limitations are compared.
