چکیده مقاله:

Sandwich beams with auxetic cores (negative Poisson's ratio) exhibit superior mechanical properties including high fracture toughness and impact energy absorption. However, accurate buckling modeling of these beams at macro scale remains challenging. This paper demonstrates that Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory, contrary to common belief limiting it to nano-scale, is physically meaningful for macro-scale auxetic-core sandwich beams when applied to core interaction modeling. A numerical MATLAB code based on Challamel et al. (۲۰۱۱) analytical model calculates dimensionless buckling loads for various nonlocal parameters. Results show that classical local models underestimate buckling load by up to ۶۲%, while the nonlocal model correctly captures the core's stiffening effect. Findings align with contemporary research on sandwich structure buckling analysis.
