چکیده مقاله:
Intermodal complexes, as one of the important service spaces in the transportation network, play an effective role in providing comfort, security, and well-being for passengers and drivers. The increase in travel time, changing lifestyles, and the spread of digital technologies have caused users' needs for intermodal spaces to go beyond basic services, and the quality of the environment, ease of access, security, comfort, and spatial experience have become more important. In the meantime, smart technologies, including the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, environmental sensors, smart building management systems, smart lighting, and digital control and information systems, have created a significant capacity for transformation in the interior design of these complexes. Smart technology can create flexible, responsive, and tailored spaces to different needs by collecting and analyzing information related to user behavior and environmental conditions. Also, the proper use of these technologies can improve indoor air quality, thermal and visual comfort, manage energy consumption, increase safety, and enhance the quality of services. On the other hand, the introduction of technology into the interior space also brings challenges such as implementation and maintenance costs, the need for appropriate infrastructure, privacy protection, system complexity, and the possibility of creating visual clutter. This article aims to investigate the impact of smart technology on the interior design of intercity complexes, analyzing the role of this technology in spatial organization, user comfort, sustainability, security, flexibility, and spatial experience. The results show that smartization can lead to improving the quality of intercity complexes when technology is used in harmony with the principles of human-centered design, sustainable architecture, and local identity and is considered as part of the design process, not just an additional equipment.
