چکیده مقاله:

NiO nanoparticles (NPs), synthesized using deep eutectic solvents (DES) via the solvothermal method, exhibit enhanced photocatalytic activity for wastewater pollutant degradation. Characterization via XRD, BET, and HRTEM/TEM confirmed high porosity and surface area, correlating with improved performance. Sonophotocatalytic processes achieved ۹۰% removal of organic pollutant phenazopyridine (PhP), with a ۲۸.۳۶% synergistic effect from combined ultrasonic and UV radiation. Scavengers reduced efficiency, while potassium persulfate enhanced degradation by ۷%. PhP degradation followed pseudo-first-order kinetics (R² > ۰.۹۷), and reusability tests showed minimal performance decline after four cycles, enhancing industrial applicability.
