چکیده مقاله:
This paper investigates the design and ergonomic optimization of a motorcycle chassis with the aim of improving rider comfort using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) additive manufacturing. Rider discomfort caused by vibration transmission, improper seating posture, and rigid structural components is a common issue in conventional motorcycle chassis designs. In this study, ergonomic principles are incorporated into the chassis and rider-contact components to enhance comfort and reduce physical fatigue during riding. The FDM process is employed due to its capability to fabricate complex geometries and customized structures. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is selected as the manufacturing material because of its favorable mechanical properties, impact resistance, and suitability for FDM printing. The proposed chassis design is developed using CAD tools and qualitatively evaluated in terms of ergonomic posture, load distribution, and vibration reduction potential. The results indicate that the use of FDM-fabricated ABS components can improve rider comfort while maintaining adequate structural performance.
