چکیده مقاله:

Rapid urbanization and industrialization have exacerbated air pollution and the decline of green space in Tehran, highlighting the role of women as consumption managers and educators in urban sustainability. The present study aimed to analyze the role of trust in the social networks of women activists in the field of green space development and air pollution management in Tehran. This study was conducted using a social network analysis (SNA) approach and a descriptive-analytical method, and the data of this study were collected through structured and semi-structured questionnaires. Analysis of centrality indices (betweenness and degree) with UCINET software showed that the trust network of activist women is not well-dense and only a few activists, such as N.Y. and D.Z., play pivotal roles in intra-network communications. In contrast, a significant portion of members are isolated, and horizontal and synergistic communications between groups are weak. The results show that strengthening social capital and increasing mutual trust among activist women can lead to the promotion of collective cooperation, the expansion of environmental education, and the sustainable development of urban green space. Accordingly, empowering women's networks through education, participatory interactions, and institutional support will be an effective strategy for reducing pollution and improving the quality of life in Tehran.
