چکیده مقاله:

Biodiversity loss is one of the most significant environmental challenges facing the world today. Global glaciers melting is caused by the cascading effects of rising temperatures and is the most visible indicators of climate change. Ice melting opens the door to alien species. Invasive species brought to new territories are one of the main causes of the ongoing biodiversity crisis by altering ecosystem functions and driving species to extinction and impact on migrating animals. Furthermore, melting glaciers can release methane, a potent greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere that leads to climate change. The ecological consequences can be severe and long-lasting, fundamentally reshaping the balance of local ecosystems. This paper explores interconnecting of melting glaciers, climate change and biodiversity. Then conservation efforts, and international collaboration will be necessary to address the challenges posed by invasive species and preserve the integrity of ecosystems worldwide.
