چکیده مقاله:

Symbiotic microbes associated with insects have emerged as key players in regulating various physiological processes, improving nutrition, mediating immune responses, and modulating interactions with environmental threats. These symbionts not only aid in overcoming host plant defenses and combating pathogens but also contribute to the detoxification of pesticides and enhanced susceptibility to insecticides. This review synthesizes current understanding of insect-microbe symbioses, focusing on their multifunctional roles and potential applications in integrated pest management (IPM). Challenges and future perspectives in leveraging microbial symbionts for sustainable agriculture are also discussed.
