چکیده مقاله:
This study aimed to explore the use of Heygen AI and Suno AI in creating interactive, personalized content for English language teaching, focusing on integrating voice acting, avatars, and music. The participants were ۲۰ intermediate-level English learners, randomly selected from a pool of ۶۰ students at an institute in Marand, Iran. The students were divided into two groups: ۱۰ in the experimental group, who engaged with AI-generated content, and ۱۰ in the control group, who received traditional, non-AI-based instruction. All participants had basic proficiency in English but were unfamiliar with AI-generated educational content. A mixed-methods approach was used to collect data, including pre- and post-tests to assess vocabulary retention and grammar understanding, along with surveys and semi-structured interviews to evaluate student engagement and motivation. The experimental group used Heygen AI to visualize lessons with talking avatars and personalized voiceovers, while Suno AI was used to generate songs incorporating new vocabulary and grammar, which were visualized with Heygen avatars. The control group followed traditional methods without AI tools. The results revealed that the experimental group exhibited significantly higher levels of engagement, motivation, and enjoyment compared to the control group. They also showed better retention of vocabulary and grammar structures. Many students reported that personalized voiceovers, interactive avatars, and music made the learning experience more engaging and effective. These findings suggest that integrating Heygen and Suno AI tools in language teaching can significantly enhance student engagement, retention, and overall learning outcomes.
