چکیده مقاله:

Iran's socio-political environment between ۱۹۴۱ and ۱۹۷۹ A.D. is analyzed through Bourdieu's theory of action, conceptualized as a social field shaped by political repression, censorship, and ideological conflict. Within this field, translators such as Ebrahim Younesi, Mohammad Ghazi, Mohammad Pourhormazan, Behazin, and Najaf Daryabandari functioned as cultural agents whose translation practices were shaped by the interaction between social structures, habitus, and various forms of capital. Using a qualitative and interpretative approach, the study examines how structural conditions influenced translation activity. The findings indicate that Iran's socio-political context in the ۱۹۶۰s directly affected Younesi's translations, while modernization and Western intellectual influence shaped Ghazi's orientation. Political repression constrained Pourhormazan's work, and ideological control over intellectuals defined the limits of Behazin's activity. Daryabandari's translations reflect contemporary philosophical and existential currents, showing the interaction between individual habitus and social structure. Overall, the field structure distributed opportunities and constraints, yet translators also contributed to the reproduction and transformation of cultural discourse.
