چکیده مقاله:

The phonological processes are more similar to the children's language production. In their early years, they have a tendency to simplify the complex words in order to pronounce them easily. This simplification of the words is rather predictable; some simple alterations in morphological aspects of the word happen for making the pronunciation of the phonologically complicated words to be simple for them; for example, they utter the word biscuit as bibi; it is seen that they utter cat as at and boat as oat; they delete the initial consonants. They also delete the final consonants as they utter lid as li and cup as cu. It is also observed that they have deleted the weak syllable in the different positions of the word; they utter banana as nana or octopus as ocups, maintain goes under vowel reduction and uttered as /menten/ or the word maintenance is reduced to as /mentanans/. They have also made the consonantal cluster reduction as plan is uttered as pan and mast as ma.
