چکیده مقاله:

The rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into language education has created new opportunities for personalized instruction, automated feedback, and efficient assessment. However, despite these advantages, AI also introduces significant ethical and cognitive risks that remain insufficiently examined. This theoretical study analyses the potential negative consequences associated with AI-driven language learning tools. Cognitively, excessive reliance on automated feedback and generative systems may reduce learners' critical thinking, linguistic creativity, and metacognitive awareness. Ethically, concerns such as data privacy violations, algorithmic bias, unequal access to AI technologies, and diminishing human interaction pose threats to fairness and inclusivity in educational contexts. By synthesizing insights from contemporary in research educational technology, cognitive psychology, and ethics, this paper highlights the darker dimensions of AI in language education. The analysis emphasizes the need for responsible implementation strategies that balance technological innovation with pedagogical integrity, ensuring that AI supports rather than undermines learners' intellectual and ethical development.
