The properties of fiber concretes

Strength and high ductility is one of the most important components in designing and building concrete sections. A concrete section may crack for a variety of reasons and this crack can be structural or non-structural; but most of crack created in concrete surface due to tensile weakness of this product is structural. This defective concrete can be somewhat repaired by arming with steel bars. According to this point that steel bars are small port of concrete section, it is incorrect to imagine that the concrete section is a homogeneous and isotropic volume. It is used of natural and artificial fibers in order to create proper isotopic conditions and reduce the fragility weakness of concrete. This fiber in addition to change concrete behavior from fragility mode in to soft and ductile mode, it also increases tensile and compressive resistance of mortar and concrete.
