چکیده مقاله:

Asphaltene deposition in crude oil production and transportation is one of the most critical challenges in the petroleum industry, leading to severe operational problems such as formation damage, flow assurance issues, and production losses. The synthesis of organic inhibitors has emerged as a promising and efficient approach to mitigate these challenges. These inhibitors, often derived from surfactants, polymers, and heteroatomic organic compounds, can effectively disperse or prevent the aggregation of asphaltene molecules by altering surface interactions and stabilizing colloidal systems. Recent advancements in the design and synthesis of inhibitors, including functionalized polymers, amphiphilic molecules, and ionic liquids, have significantly improved their thermal stability, solubility, and adsorption behavior under reservoir conditions. The efficiency of these compounds strongly depends on their molecular structure, polarity balance, and the nature of crude oil composition. Experimental and computational studies have revealed that specific functional groups such as amines, carboxylates, and sulfonates play a crucial role in the inhibition mechanism through π- interactions and hydrogen bonding with asphaltene molecules. This review highlights key developments in the synthesis strategies, inhibition mechanisms, and performance evaluation methods of organic inhibitors, emphasizing their potential in optimizing crude oil production and flow assurance operations. Future research directions include designing green inhibitors, hybrid nanocomposites, and predictive molecular modeling for enhanced inhibition efficiency and environmental sustainability.
