چکیده مقاله:

Background: The digital revolution is fundamentally changing all aspects of our lives, and the health sector is no exception. Within this transformation, paramedics and especially the role of nurses have significant importance. With the advancement of modern technologies, nurses can access powerful tools that allow them to elevate hospital care to a higher level. Materials and Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted in specialized databases such as PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science. This search included articles published from ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۴, using specific keywords. The inclusion criteria were aimed at studies that examined digital applications in nursing career. Articles were excluded if they did not focus on digital innovations, were not published in English, and were not full text available, then finally ۱۰ articles were and reviewed. The data collected using narrative synthesis to identify patterns in the application of digital tools within this area. The data extraction were done by ۳ reviewers independently. Results: The digital transformation of nursing encompasses a range of effective digital tools that's essential for enhancing patient care and significantly altered clinical practices, patient care, and nursing education. This review gather various studies to emphasize these three primary key themes: First, electronic health records (EHRs) have been found to enhance patient data management by improving both efficiency and accuracy. Nurses utilize EHRs for more effective documentation and communication with healthcare professionals. Nonetheless, challenges such as data privacy concerns highlight the need for relevant nursing staff training. Next, telehealth services have gained increased importance. Nurses are now able to conduct virtual consultations from a distance. While many nurses advise telenursing as a key to improve care access, its success largely depends on the availability and readiness of technology structure. Then, mobile health applications support patient self-management, as you know numerous studies have reported positive feedback from patients regarding the usability of these apps. Conclusion: This review found that the digital transformation of nursing includes a range of effective digital tools that are essential for enhancing patient care and significantly altering clinical practices, patient care, and nursing education. The review identified three key themes: Electronic health records (EHRs), Telehealth services and Mobile health applications. Overall, this review highlights the importance of digital technologies in improving healthcare, but it also emphasizes the need to address the challenges related to privacy, infrastructure, and training in order to fully realize their potential.
