Integrating On-Site Supervision and Intelligent Systems in Improving Urban Transport Service Quality; Challenges and Solutions of the Supervision Organization

Urban transportation systems are vital for economic vitality, and the demand for efficient public transport is intensifying with urbanization. Traditional management methods are increasingly insufficient for modern networks, creating a need to integrate intelligent transportation systems (ITS) with on-site supervision. This review explores the convergence of digital technologies and physical supervision to address mobility challenges, examining how data-driven approaches like real-time monitoring and predictive analytics can enhance operational efficiency. We identify key implementation barriers, including infrastructure gaps and privacy concerns. Synthesizing recent literature, we propose a hybrid supervision model combining human oversight with artificial intelligence. The findings suggest that successful integration requires a holistic strategy encompassing policy reform, stakeholder engagement, and robust technical architecture.
