چکیده مقاله:

The growing energy demand and environmental concerns have accelerated the adoption of renewable energy technologies worldwide. Floating solar photovoltaic (FPV) systems represent an innovative solution, especially suitable for coastal regions with limited land availability. This review evaluates the technological aspects, environmental impacts, and the potential benefits of integrating FPV systems with aquaculture in southern coastal regions of Iran. We highlight the opportunities for energy generation alongside sustainable aquaculture practices, considering Iran’s energy crisis and abundant marine resources. The review also emphasizes the need for comprehensive technical, environmental, and economic assessments to optimize implementation in the region.
