چکیده مقاله:

Solar Radiation Management (SRM) through marine salt aerosol injection has emerged as a potential geoengineering approach to mitigate global warming. This technique involves dispersing sea salt particles into the lower atmosphere to increase the Earth’s albedo, reflecting a portion of incoming solar radiation back into space. While promising, SRM raises concerns regarding environmental, ecological, and socio-political impacts. This review examines current methodologies, underlying mechanisms, observed environmental effects, and the challenges in implementing marine salt aerosol SRM at large scales. The study emphasizes the need for comprehensive risk assessment, monitoring strategies, and international governance frameworks.
