چکیده مقاله:

In the contemporary world, media function not only as instruments of information but as powerful forces that shape perceptions, construct realities, and influence social behavior. The evolution of communication technologies has intensified the dynamics of media bubbles-enclosed informational spaces that reinforce selective beliefs and limit exposure to diverse perspectives. This study examines how these dynamics contribute to the formation of public opinion, particularly during times of crisis, conflict, and uncertainty. It explores the dual role of media as both generators and managers of crises through mechanisms such as framing, propaganda, emotional manipulation, and psychological warfare. Furthermore, it analyzes how strategic media management, ethical communication, and rapid crisis response can transform media from instruments of instability into tools of peace and resilience. Emphasis is placed on crisis communication strategies, the prevention of misinformation, and the restorative function of reassurance journalism in rebuilding social trust. Ultimately, the study argues that the media's structural power to influence cognition, emotion, and collective judgment makes them central to both crisis creation and crisis resolution. A balanced, responsible, and transparent media system is therefore essential for maintaining public confidence, managing crises effectively, and promoting global stability.
