Development of a Model of Educational Adjustment and Enthusiasm based on Psychological Empowerment with the Mediation of Self-management in Learning of Payam Noor University Students in Tehran

چکیده مقاله:
In recent years, the changes of the education environment and the experience of alternate courses of face-to-face and virtual education have highlighted the importance of examining the academic status of students. Therefore, the aim of this study was developing model of educational adjustment and Educational Enthusiasm based on psychological empowerment with the mediation role of Self-management in learning of Payam Noor University students. This study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in nature. Statistical population consisted of students of Payam Noor Universities in Tehran. The sampling method was convenient. Sample size was calculated as ۳۸۰. Research tools included Ziyai et al (۲۰۱۶) psychological empowerment, Fisher and King (۲۰۱۰) self-management in learning, Fredrickset al (۲۰۰۴) educational enthusiasm and Baker and Siryk (۱۹۸۴) educational adjustment. Findings showed that the standard effect coefficient of the psychological empowerment on educational adjustment was ۰.۴۴, on self-management was ۰.۷۵, and the standard effect coefficient of the self-management on educational adjustment was ۰.۴۸. Also, the standard effect coefficient of psychological empowerment on educational enthusiasm was ۰.۶۰, on self-management was ۰.۷۵, and the standard effect coefficient of self-management on educational enthusiasm was ۰.۱۷. Based on this, the mediating role of self-management in learning was significant in the relationship of psychological empowerment with educational enthusiasm and adjustment. As a result, it is suggested to the professors and teachers to behave in the classroom in such a way that the learners consider themselves responsible for new learning and have good control over the learning process.
