چکیده مقاله:
The electronic nose is a device using different chemical gas sensors to detect control and diagnose all types of gases. E-nose sensors that utilize organic and biomaterial compounds have been a focus of research in recent years. These sensors mimic the human sense of smell by using arrays of chemical sensors to detect and identify different odors or volatile organic compounds. Organic compounds such as conducting polymers and biomaterials like proteins or enzymes are being explored for their selective sensing capabilities and stability in various applications. In the last few decades, more attention has been paid to E-nose applications in the field of food, cosmetic and health industries, medicine, environmental control, and chemical engineering to solve problems. In E-nose, as the human nose, it is not needed to determine all components' concentration and odor detection is based on matching a general pattern with the saved classified data bank in the device. E-nose consists sampling system, sensors, and a processing and display system. In the following, the E-nose and some of its applications in the agriculture and dairy products are presented.
