چکیده مقاله:

Electrical energy is one of the most consumed forms of energy in daily life. An electric generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. A generator drives electrons to move within an external electrical circuit. Today, researchers are using mechanical vibrations in the nature as supply for electric systems. The output voltage and current of nanogenerator are so high that they could be used for certain nano-systems such as self-charging sensors, tiny implantable devices, micro-robots, and nano-robots. In the present paper, the developed triboelectric nanogenerator is of PDMS/KAPTON type which can generate ۹ V, ۰.۵ µA, and ۴.۵ µW. It can turn on ۱۵ white LEDs arranged in series. The process of obtaining energy from the surrounding environment and converting it into electrical energy is called energy harvesting. The idea of generating energy from environmental sources is not new and its history goes back to windmills and water wells. For decades, researchers have been developing techniques to generate energy from heat and other environmental sources. One of the common methods of using environmental energy is the use of mechanical energy in the form of vibrations.
