The evolution of football coaching

In championship sports, clubs, as the core active players in the sports industry, have a difficult and challenging task to improve their performance and maintain the satisfaction of their fans and supporters, and in this regard, they experience not only on the field of play, but also greater competition and challenges outside the field of play. Effective coaching is complex and multifaceted and occurs within a chaotic, unpredictable, and often uncontrollable environment; that is, it is characterised by an incongruency between intended performance goals and actual results. Coaching seems to be a very stressful profession, as past experience has shown that coaching is a different field from other fields and requires a wide range of skills. Coaching at the professional level also involves a lot of complexities and pressures. On the one hand, coaches deal with the technical issues of their team, such as player selection, system and team composition for each game, player injuries, etc., and on the other hand, media and management pressure, communication with various individuals and groups, the need to respond appropriately and quickly to various environmental requests, pressure to win, etc., create a lot of concern and tension for them, and the performance of any of the tasks or the inability to successfully perform any of them can exacerbate the pressure on the coach. Finally, effective football coaches should strive to be lifelong learners to provide football players with quality sporting experiences.
