Skins and seeds of 7 grape cultivars belonging to yoorghanloo in West Azarbaijan Province, Iran were analyzed for health beneficial properties.The total phenolic and flavonoid contents were determined using the Folin-Ciocalteu method and a colorimetric method, respectively. The determination of the antioxidant activity of the extracts was carried out using DPPH method and reducing power through the FRAP method. Significant differences were found in the phenolic, flavonoid contents, antioxidant activity and reducing power of seed and skin from various cultivars. Vitis vinifera cv. Ghare shire had the highest total phenolic and flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity in skin. Vitis vinifera cv. Asghari had the highest total phenolic and flavonoid contents and antioxidant activity in seed. The antioxidant activities were found highly correlated to the main phenolic compounds
