We can apply different data compression techniques to reduce the data size. This paper discusses a simple solution to improve the compression of single-colored pixel images without losing data. This solution relies on the factorization method in mathematics, which skips repeated pixels. Therefore, if the most favorable lossless image file format, PNG, uses this suggestion for the saving operation of solid-colored pixel images, it can significantly increase the current compression ratio. We implemented this solution in practice with the C# programming language and compared the results. The results demonstrated that the factorization-based solution significantly improves lossless compression compared to existing techniques, particularly when applied to solid-colored pixel images. A considerably important point is that by using this solution, saving a solid-colored pixel image with dimensions M×N will not only be a tiny size but approximately equal for all dimensions.
