چکیده مقاله:

Hydraulic fracturing is one of the most significant activities to develop oil and gas production. In this process, fluid is injected into the formation with enough pressure to break the rock. After fracturing, continuing the injection, the fracture expands in the formation. Then, propane is added to keep open the created fracture. In this study, suitable depth determined based on the most effective geomechanical parameter. For this purpose, first, the geomechanical parameters on the fracture pressure numerically analyzed with MATLAB software. According to the numerical analysis, Poisson’s ratio determined as the most effective parameter on fracture pressure and hydraulic fracturing. Accordingly, suitable depths for fracturing determined based on three parameters: low water saturation, high porosity, and low Poisson's ratio. The parameters of water saturation calculated with Indonesian method and porosity calculated with Excel software using neutron log data for each well. Elastic properties calculated with sonic log data. The most suitable experimental equations used to determine the elastic properties. Suitable depths for hydraulic fracturing determined based on the new model: ۱۴,۲۰۰ to ۱۴,۷۰۰ m for well A, ۱۴,۸۵۰ to ۱۵,۱۵۰ m for well B, and ۱۴,۶۰۰ to ۱۴,۹۵۰ m for well C.
