چکیده مقاله:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly shaping modern healthcare systems and has significant implications for nursing practice, education, management, and research. The objective of this narrative review is to examine the current applications of AI in nursing, identify its potential benefits and challenges, and outline future directions for integrating AI into nursing care. The review synthesizes recent scholarly literature addressing AI-driven clinical decision support systems, predictive analytics, intelligent monitoring technologies, robotics, and educational innovations relevant to nursing. The findings indicate that AI can enhance nursing outcomes by improving early detection of patient deterioration, supporting clinical decision-making, optimizing workload management, and facilitating personalized education and training. Additionally, AI-enabled technologies contribute to increased efficiency, patient safety, and quality of care. However, the review also highlights critical challenges, including ethical concerns, data privacy issues, algorithmic bias, and the risk of over-reliance on automated systems, which may affect professional autonomy and critical thinking. In conclusion, AI represents a powerful supportive tool rather than a replacement for nurses. Its successful integration depends on ethical implementation, nurse engagement in system design, and education that promotes digital competence. A balanced, human-centered approach is essential to ensure that AI advancements strengthen compassionate, safe, and effective nursing care.
