چکیده مقاله:
The ball-thrower or ball-launching device is popular as a new and vital ball sports accessory. For a player to perform well in their sport, enhancing professional skills is possible by repeating the same situations that the player encounters. This repetition can be facilitated with the help of a machine. In this study, a systematic evaluating process is performed for analyzing launching machine design that can provide a repeatable and controllable direction and speed for the ball. The features of these devices include adjustable settings for changes in speed, height, and launch angle; application in various sports such as basketball, tennis, soccer, and volleyball; effective training; increased accuracy and throwing power; and reduced risk of injury from incorrect training. Various mechanical designs for this robot are presented and finally a new conceptual design with special features is proposed. The designed robot is useful for goalkeeper training, which includes various types of ball handling, free kicks, and corner kicks. Additionally, it can be used for various intra-team training exercises.
