چکیده مقاله:
Effective thermal management is critical for the performance, safety, and longevity of lithium-ion batteries, especially in high-power applications such as electric vehicles and energy storage systems. Excessive heat generation can lead to capacity loss, accelerated degradation, and safety risks, underscoring the need for efficient cooling strategies. This work presents a brief mini-review of cooling methods for lithium-ion batteries, including air cooling, liquid cooling, phase change materials (PCMs), and non-conventional and hybrid systems. Each technique is qualitatively assessed briefly based on its design, heat transfer efficiency, and advantages. Additionally, the report delves into recent advancements and future trends, emphasizing the potential of new materials and smart cooling systems.
