چکیده مقاله:
The push for sustainability has made smart building technologies essential for cutting down energy use and environmental impact in architecture. This study looks at how a Building Management System (BMS) is implemented in the Peace and Serenity Center, a ۵,۰۰۰-square-meter facility in Tehran’s Region ۲۲, focused on meditation, yoga, peace exhibitions, and community wellness. The center uses an advanced BMS to control various systems, including heating, cooling, solar lights, and interactive water fountains that play calming music. It features renewable materials like recycled steel and reclaimed wood to reduce carbon emissions. The solar panels meet all lighting needs, achieving a net-zero energy status for lighting and enabling the BMS to lower energy use by about ۲۵-۳۰% compared to standard buildings. Interactive elements, including special flooring in meditation areas and musical fountains in the courtyard, enhance the visitor experience while promoting sustainability through efficient systems. This paper shows how smart technologies help architects blend environmental goals with cultural values. The results indicate meaningful energy savings, with the BMS adjusting heating, cooling, and lighting based on how full the spaces are and the weather outside. The peaceful atmosphere created by this tech-driven design makes it a model for sustainable urban architecture. This study adds to conversations about smart buildings, providing a framework that architects, engineers, and policymakers can use to create eco-friendly and user-focused spaces.
