چکیده مقاله:
The global construction industry faces a chronic productivity crisis and radical uncertainties. This study aims to develop a theoretical and operational framework for the Hammond Technology Transfer Risk Management (HTT-RM) model for construction mega-projects in Iran within the ۱۴۳۰ (۲۰۵۰) horizon. This applied research, utilizing a qualitative method and a Technical Narrative Analysis approach, analyzes the media documentary "Engineering Connections" regarding the masterpiece of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao as a statistical population and a living laboratory for risk management. Data collection involved extracting technical and managerial propositions from the documentary and validating them based on scientific theories such as TRIZ, Biomimicry, and Far-field Analogical Reasoning. Data analysis was conducted using Cross-Industry Innovation (CII) logic and adapting global solutions to Iran's indigenous challenges (e.g., water crisis, subsidence, and sanctions). The results indicate that under conditions of severe resource constraints, linear and traditional risk management methods are inefficient. In contrast, the proposed model, relying on the concept of Strategic Bricolage and knowledge transfer from unrelated domains (such as military industries and nature to architecture), offers a resilient pattern for converting technological threats into innovative opportunities.This article has been prepared and compiled for the course Management, Supervision, and Execution in Architecture in the final semester of the master’s program, prior to undertaking the thesis. It was produced by two group members in this course—Amirtaha Ashrafi and Sevil Jafari—under the supervision of the course instructor, Dr. Saeed Azemati.The article has been developed as part of the course requirements and in continuation of class assignments, as well as for research and study on the Guggenheim Museum, serving as an extension of previous investigations for this and other related papers.It is now being published accordingly.
