چکیده مقاله:
Information and communication technologies are rapidly expanding in context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Currently, progress and realization of various technologies have paved the way for operationalizing concepts of virtualization and creating digital versions of different systems and machinery. A novel approach combining technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual reality (VR) along with robust communication structures will soon bring the concept of digital twins closer to reality. This paper examines and optimizes balance between cost, reliability, and efficiency in electrical distribution networks using modern supply chain management approaches. Using an advanced simulation model, the impact of integration of prosumers (consumers-producers) and digital twin technology on network performance has been evaluated. This research compares three main approaches: traditional system, smart grid, and digital twin-based system. Results show that the use of digital twin technology and integration of prosumers can significantly increase the efficiency of the network, while reducing operational costs. This study also examines the challenges faces the implementation of these approaches and potential solutions to overcome them. Findings of this research can help in making informed decisions to improve management of the energy supply and distribution chain.
