چکیده مقاله:
The integration of digital technologies in education has, to a significant degree, revolutionized how educators are trained, and gamification and artificial intelligence (AI) are the top transformative forces. Gamification, using game-based mechanisms like rewards, contests, and interactive scenarios, has been shown to improve teacher engagement, motivation, and skill retention. Parallel to this, AI offers adaptive feedback, personal learning environments, and data-driven insights that can enable teacher growth in ways that were unimaginable before. However, gamification-AI intersection is not researched systematically in the sciences of education. The goal of this paper is to examine how gamification principles, when blended with AI technologies, can result in more effective, student-oriented approaches to teacher education. Drawing on a mixed-methods methodology, the study assesses recent research and covers case examples from language teacher education programs in which gamified modules based on AI were introduced. Outcomes show that these methods enhance pedagogical skills as well as reflective practice, self-efficacy, and extended professional development. Instructors who were trained through gamified AI-driven models were more flexible to the demands of different classrooms and had greater motivation compared to those trained through traditional models. The conclusion of the paper is that, strategically put together, gamification and AI have the potential to reimagine teacher education in order to foster experiential, personalized, and sustainable professional growth. Policy recommendations, curriculum design, and implications for teacher educators are also discussed, suggesting supportive infrastructures, ethical concerns, and continuous innovation.
