چکیده مقاله:
This study examines the impact of social media addiction on academic burnout among students at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, with a particular focus on the mediating role of sleep quality. The findings reveal a significant association between social media addiction and reduced sleep quality, which in turn exacerbates symptoms of academic burnout, such as emotional exhaustion, decreased concentration, and loss of motivation. These results highlight the critical importance of improving sleep quality and regulating social media use as key strategies for mitigating academic burnout and enhancing academic performance.
