Prediction of spontaneous negative thoughts based on fear of negative evaluation in teenagers from Divorce Families

The aim of the current research was to predict negative spontaneous thoughts based on the fear of negative evaluation in teenagers from divorced families. The statistical population included all teenagers from divorced families in Gorgan city in ۱۴۰۳ and ۱۴۰۴, and ۲۵۰ teenagers were selected as the research sample using available sampling method. The tools used in the research were: Kendall and Holon's (۱۹۸۰) negative spontaneous thoughts questionnaire and Watson and Friend's (۱۹۶۹) fear of negative evaluation questionnaire. Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise regression were used to analyze the obtained data. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between fear of negative evaluation and negative spontaneous thoughts.
