چکیده مقاله:

This study aimed to use Kolcaba's comfort theory in nursing care for an adolescent girl with seizures at the Emergency Department of Pediatrics. The research approach was a case study of the adaptation of Kolcaba's comfort theory for an adolescent girl with seizures. Data collection was done by interviewing and full biography of adolescent, mother, father, patient records and patient Comfort Behavioral Tool and Comfort Daisies Scale and Taxonomic structure of comfort. Nursing care is provided in the nursing process based on patient comfort. Interventions based on patient comfort were presented in four fields: physical, psycho-spiritual, peripheral, and sociocultural. Using this theory in clinical care for adolescents increases patient comfort and provides care for the child and family.
