چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the role and implementation of renewable energy sources within architectural design to foster sustainable building practices and reduce environmental impacts. The primary objective is to evaluate how renewable energies specifically solar, wind, geothermal, and biomass can be integrated effectively into buildings to enhance energy efficiency and minimize carbon emissions. The research methodology encompasses a comprehensive literature review, case study analysis of exemplary projects worldwide, and energy performance simulations using software tools under varying climatic conditions. Key findings demonstrate solar energy as the most widely adopted and effective renewable resource in architecture, primarily through photovoltaic systems and passive solar design, leading to significant reductions in conventional energy use. Wind energy, although promising, shows practical constraints within urban environments due to space limitations and aerodynamic challenges. Geothermal energy systems are identified as reliable for heating and cooling but are limited by geological and cost factors. Biomass energy is viable predominantly in rural or off-grid scenarios, requiring sustainable fuel sources. The results emphasize the necessity of early-stage integration of renewable energy strategies during architectural planning, supported by interdisciplinary collaboration among architects, engineers, and policymakers. This integrated approach facilitates the development of green buildings that are environmentally sustainable, economically feasible, and socially responsible. The study contributes practical guidelines and insights that support architects in adopting renewable energies, thereby advancing global efforts towards sustainable urban development and climate change mitigation.
