چکیده مقاله:

This report explores the pyramid as a potent architectural and political symbol, tracing its evolution from ancient Egyptian civilization to modern interpretations. The primary objective is to examine how this archetypal form intertwines with concepts of authority, national identity, cosmic order, and cultural values. The research employs a qualitative, interdisciplinary analysis, integrating insights from architectural history, cultural studies, political science, semiotics, and mythology. It establishes a theoretical framework based on Jungian archetypes, Foucault’s theories of power, Lefebvre’s production of space, and architectural semiotics to provide a nuanced interpretive lens. The study relies on comparative case studies, including the ancient Egyptian pyramids, the Great Seal of the United States, and modern structures like the Louvre Pyramid, to illustrate the practical application of these theories. The analysis concludes that the pyramid, despite its intrinsic symbolic stability, functions as a dynamic signifier whose meaning is continually negotiated and revised by prevailing cultural, political, and economic forces. The study highlights a fundamental tension between the pyramid’s universal archetypal power and its specific ideological appropriation to serve divergent narratives.
