چکیده مقاله:

Management in healthcare organizations is always keen to know whether their employees are satisfied with the type of work they do. Job satisfaction is a topic that all employers across all industries pay special attention to. The healthcare industry is one of those sectors where job satisfaction plays a crucial role in performance and delivering quality services to patients. Although many studies have been conducted on job satisfaction in the healthcare industry, only a few of them consider the dynamic impact of factors on each other and use feedback loops for realistic modeling of the issue. This paper proposes a multi-stage model for evaluating job satisfaction using system dynamics in a large hospital in Iran. First, key factors influencing job satisfaction are listed based on the Job Descriptive Index. In the second stage, after designing the influence diagram, three scenarios are developed to examine the impact of two important factors: financial and non-financial rewards. Finally, we analyzed the results of the flow diagram implementation for each scenario. The results show that the simultaneous use of both financial and non-financial rewards can enhance job satisfaction and increase the organization's revenue through the application of either of them.
