The utilization of uricase enzyme in the treatment of conditions associated with elevated uric acid levels has garnered significant attention. In response to this, researchers have endeavored to identify strategies to enhance the enzyme's stability under various conditions, including thermal environments. One promising approach involves the application of natural deep eutectic solvents. In pursuit of this objective, a solvent was synthesized utilizing glycerol and two sugars, sucrose and fructose, in predetermined ratios. Following the cultivation of bacteria and the expression and purification of recombinant uricase, the long-term stability of the enzyme was assessed across three distinct temporal and thermal conditions. The findings indicate a notable enhancement in the long-term stability of the enzyme when utilizing the eutectic solvent, in comparison to control conditions devoid of the solvent.
